Beauty of Tasmania is the passion project of Hobart-based landscape photographer Luke Tscharke. Originally from South Australia, or what Tasmanians affectionately call 'the mainland', Luke spent years hearing about the amazing sights of the great southern state. In his early thirties, he finally visited and immediately fell in love with Tasmania's natural beauty. There was so much to photograph, and Luke returned many times to explore the World Heritage listed wilderness.

Following his heart, Luke eventually left his corporate job to pursue photography and moved to Tasmania to be closer to the landscapes that captivated him. Sharing the incredible scenery of this island with others became his mission, making "Beauty of Tasmania" the perfect name for this collection of work.
